I’ve been so busy… Really, since March I’ve been on the road almost every weekend traveling places and seeing people. The month of June we are staying in Bowling Green. No over night trips and all traveling outside of the city limits need to be for a really good reason. I’ve started attending a quaker meeting for spiritual community. I’m loving it. Silence is such a beautiful thing. I need a lot of it in my life to be able to function when I’m around people. When I take solitude or sit in my house in the morning in silence I recharge. It’s just the way I operate. When I go without alone time my socially awkward tendency’s come out. So going to a quaker meeting might be a good fit for me. Sit in silence for an hour before you talk to a single person. What a refreshing way to be church.
My trip to the Grand Cannon was amazing. Please check out my pictures on the flickr site.
Kelli and I started a garden in the back yard… Tomatoes, Basil, Squash and Lettuce have been planted with more to come. I’ll post pictures of that soon.
I’m reading: “Animal, Vegetable Miracle” By Barbara Kingsolver. It’s a smart read about know where your food comes from and why it’s important to buy from local farmers.
The Blinn Bed and Breakfast is accepting summer reservations.
I’m the videographer for a nationally distributed how-to woodworking show called, “The American Wood Shop with Scott Phillips“. Every other week I take an overnight road trip to Piqua, Ohio to shoot a new episode. My shows start airing nationally on PBS in August. Sweet Jam!!!

a few thoughts:
1. since our chat about the quakers, i have realized that i really don’t just sit in silence very much. gonna try some of that more often. i don’t know if i’m ready for a full hour of quaker…
2. your garden makes good salads. and you’ll be able to eat your tomatoes without fear of salmonella poisoning.
3. the blinn bed and breakfast was absolutely lovely, but we didn’t ever officially check out…are we still being billed?
